The Sir Howard Dalton Centre
- With thanks to: Dr David Stirling
- Thanks: We are deeply grateful to Dr David Stirling, a Warwick alumnus and Sir Howard Dalton’s first PhD student, whose generous gift established the Sir Howard Dalton Centre for Translational Mechanistic Enzymology in 2022. A further £1.2 million gift in 2026 provides sustainable funding for the Centre, which Phill co-directs with Chris Dowson.

Computing
Our simulations rely on national and regional high-performance computing. We gratefully acknowledge:
- Warwick’s Scientific Computing Research Technology Platform (SCRTP), for local computing including the Avon cluster.
- Sulis, the Tier 2 HPC platform hosted by SCRTP at the University of Warwick, funded by EPSRC (EP/T022108/1) and the HPC Midlands+ consortium.
- HECBioSim, the UK High-End Computing Consortium for Biomolecular Simulation, which provides access to national supercomputers such as ARCHER2, with support from EPSRC.
