- Combination therapy
- The four two-tone doses pair a β-lactam with a partner drug. Every bacterium that isn't fully resistant turns vulnerable.
- Finish the course
- A bacterium that survives a dose gains a level of resistance. At three it ignores combination therapy. Lysed bacteria regrow susceptible from the reservoir.
- Plasmid transfer
- When two Gram-negatives, or two Gram-positives, touch, both take the higher resistance level.
- Biofilm
- P. aeruginosa leaves green biofilm that slows your capsule.
- Bacteriophage
- Appears twice per plate below the reservoir. Lyses the nearest bacterium, however resistant.
